A swivel seat is simply a rotating car seat that makes it easier for you to get in and out of your car.  As you can imagine, there are many swivel seats in the marketplace today.  We fit only the highest quality ones that are individually tailored to you.  Like a good quality car seat, the swivel seats that we install are upholstered in a heavyweight, quality material.  What is more, your original car seat can be refitted at any time because we don't modify the existing seat mountings when we fit your swivel seat.

Manual or electric swivel seat options are available and here are two very popular designs;

The Turny is an outward swivelling, electrically powered car seat lift.  It is really designed for vehicles with a higher step up, which makes it ideal for people carriers.  With the Turny, getting in and out of your vehicle is easier because it is powered.  If you want to be transferred to and from your wheelchair into your vehicle, then the Turny is ideal.

The Carony system consists of a wheelchair frame, a comfortable seat that you can use both in and out of your vehicle and a mounted swivel seat base.  With a few small manoeuvres, you are able to position yourself and your chair into the front passenger space.  The wheelchair frame can then be stored in the boot as it takes up minimal space.
