There are many steering aids available today and you can even buy some on the High Street.  We only use the highest quality steering aids that when fitted to your steering wheel do not come loose, and are installed to last.

People use steering aids for a variety of reasons.  Their main benefit is that they enable a driver to steer safely and effectively using just one hand.  The most popular steering aids that we fit are either a steering ball or a spinner attachment.  Both can usually be fitted to the vast majority of steering wheels.  They don't obscure the view of the dashboard or indeed the operation of the airbag.  We can also fit a quick release latch if other drivers use the vehicle.  We have a wide range of knobs and grips that cover a spectrum of different personal needs.

Infrared Switch Controllers

Many of our customers that use steering aids, find that infrared switch controllers are an invaluable addition because they enable complete control when driving.  Using just one hand, the vast majority of the secondary functions of the car (headlights, horn and indicators etc) can be controlled simply by depressing the required function on the infrared pad, which is neatly fitted onto the steering aid.  We supply both 9 and 12 function infrared switch controllers in a neat and compact ergonomic design.  Again, like our steering aids, they are extremely well made with a quick release mechanism, and they are transferable to most vehicles.  The good news is that they are compatible with most vehicles.

We can also install infrared steering balls on all multiplex wired vehicles.
