Motability Specialists Give Trading Conditions Overwhelming Thumbs Up!
With the current news getting gloomier by the day, you would be forgiven for thinking that it's time to switch off the computer, head home and batten down the hatches ready for a winter of discontent.

Thankfully, all is not lost on the economic radar where Motability specialists are concerned. Our Chartered Marketer Dee recently rang several Motability specialists to ask whether they were feeling the pinch from the current economic climate, or as we were anticipating from our own recent upturn in sales, whether it was business as usual.

This Is What 4 Leading Motability Specialists Said.

“We are definitely up on last year's figures and now averaging 40 to 45 adaptations. There's a small improvement rather than a small downturn." Scott Williams, Ridgeway VW Berks

"The need for Motability will always be there and I believe that it's a part of the market unaffected by the recession. We are now getting people on their second time round." John Dunn, Gowrings Ford Hampshire

"There are definitely more people coming into the showroom for Motability and they are looking at the high-end cars including the new Ford Kuga which is on the scheme for the first time. In the last few weeks we've seen a real upturn in new Motability business." Rebecca McBride, Inchcape Ford Farnborough, Hampshire

"We have seen an upturn in Motability and we are now getting people returning for the new C4 Grand Picasso. We've had no fleet deletion for months. It's all return business." Mark Coulson, Evans Halshaw, Reading.

Have your say! We would like as many of you as possible to tell us what you think about the current economy and if you're bucking the trend.
